December 01 2015
We were called by a property owner in St Kilda on Sunday, 29 November and a client informed that is that he had a burst water pipe, that he could see water bubbling out of the ground and that he was able to turn on and off the water as he needed And the area where the water could be seen bubbling was a garden bed area.
The information given was crucial to reducing his after hours emergency plumbing costs and we attended as per the following job notes.
BURST WATER PIPE - AFTER HOURS
Attended property after hours on 29/11/15 to investigate report of a burst water pipe.
FINDINGS/ACTIONS -Accessed property and found a burst 20mm copper water line running along the left hand side -Shut off water to property and cut out a 1m section of pipework -Installed a new section and used B-press and fittings to secure -Re-instated water and pressure tested pipework - all okay, no leaks
A concise & clear brief will save you money and is good for both plumber and client.
