Attended property on 18/03/16 to clear and CCTV inspect the stormwater drains.

FINDINGS/ACTIONS -Accessed property and set up jet cleaning equipment -Jet cleaned main stormwater lines and pits -Re-located equipment and jet cleaned all lead off/branch drains -Jetted all main line  to council discharge point -Set up CCTV inspection equipment -Inspected all drains including lead off and branches -Located and marked any problems onsite -Created drain map and recorded footage on DVD -Packed up and left site clear

PROBLEMS FOUND: -Sections of drain are holding water and backing up into pit -There is very little grade on this drain -Found a section of dislodged pipe near nature strip -Discovered various areas of stubborn tree root entry -Also found cracking present in 90mm PVC drain

Note:  -Drain blockages usually occur as a result of defective pipe work, tree root intrusion, broken pipes or foreign objects lodged in pipes. Whilst every effort is taken to ensure that these problems do not reoccur, it is not possible to guarantee blockages remain cleared, unless permanent repairs are carried out.
