​Case Sudy 1:


Attended property on 07/01/16 to carry out a gutter clean and roof audit.

FINDINGS/ACTIONS -Set up safe roof access and personal protection equipment -Cleared all gutters and rainheads -Unblocked DP’s found to be blocked at gutter level -Cleared any leaf litter/debris found from roof -Packed up and left site clear

ROOF AUDIT REPORT -Lower roof is a clip-lock roof in Windspray colour and in excellent condition -There are 6 flues which are all in good condition -Air conditioning unit is on the right hand side and no faults were found -There is 1 hot water service on the right hand side also which looks to have a small leak -Upper roof is a flat Colorbond clip-lock which is 2 storey and has some 3 storey sections -Roof is generally in very good condition -All associated box gutter and flashings are in very good condition -Multiple penetrations can be found, all of which are in good condition with no faults founds -Right hand side has condenser units for air conditionings and have no faults -The only issue found is large over-hanging trees -Packed up and left site clear

RECOMMENDATION 1. Regular 3-4 monthly gutter cleaning to prevent blockages/overflow.
